DK Drones – Terms and Conditions

By engaging our services, visiting our website, or entering into a contract with DK Drones, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

“DK Drones” refers to the business providing drone-related services.
“Client” refers to any individual, company, or organization that engages DK Drones for services.
“Services” include but are not limited to aerial photography, videography, surveying, promotional content, and consulting.
“Deliverables” refer to the final media or data provided to the client upon completion of services.

2. Scope of Services

DK Drones will provide services as agreed in writing or via email confirmation.
Any additional services requested beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges.
All flight operations will comply with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and any local airspace restrictions.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Bookings must be made at least 5 working days in advance. Short-notice bookings may be accepted subject to availability and may incur a rush fee.
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
DK Drones reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, airspace restrictions, or technical issues. Clients will be notified promptly.

4. Payment Terms

A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable prior to service completion.
Full payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per month.
DK Drones retains ownership of all deliverables until full payment is received.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

DK Drones retains copyright of all media unless explicitly transferred in writing.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use deliverables for agreed personal or commercial purposes.
Commercial resale or redistribution requires prior written consent.

6. Safety & Compliance

DK Drones operates under strict safety protocols and CAA guidelines.
Clients are responsible for securing location access and any required permissions (e.g., landowner consent, event permits).
DK Drones reserves the right to refuse or cancel operations if safety, legal, or technical conditions are compromised.

7. Weather & Environmental Conditions

Flights are subject to weather conditions. Unsafe conditions (e.g., high winds, rain, fog) may result in postponement.
In such cases, DK Drones will offer:
- Rescheduling at no additional cost
- Refund of deposit if rescheduling is not possible within 30 calendar days
DK Drones will not be liable for delays or cancellations due to weather.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled shoot will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled shoot will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Clients may reschedule once, free of charge, if requested at least 48 hours in advance.
DK Drones reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to safety, legal, or technical constraints. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of any deposit or pre-paid balance.

9. Liability & Indemnity

DK Drones holds appropriate public liability insurance for drone operations.
Clients agree to indemnify DK Drones against any claims arising from misuse of deliverables or breach of these terms.
DK Drones is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

DK Drones complies with GDPR and UK data protection laws.
Client data will be stored securely and used only for service delivery and communication.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
